bringing your little wild things?
children who need their own bunk are 50% off. babies and very young children who do not need a bunk are free. families can also reserve an entire cabin at a special family rate.
email andie for family booking ›adult friend groups can send cabin requests after registering. all cabin requests are subject to availability.
grown-ups are campers too
wild things is a real camp weekend where grown-ups get to play, kids get the classic camp magic, and people without kids are absolutely part of the story. choose an activity, nap through it, dance after dark, or spend an unreasonable amount of time near the snack table.
we have all of camp pagweak to ourselves: the cabins, lodge, field, fire pit and private beach on the pugwash shore.
and your host actually grew up here. andie was a pagweak camper before she was a yoga teacher, and this weekend is her way of hauling everyone she loves back to the place that raised her.
meet at the fire
before group chats, there was this. warm faces in a circle, stories getting better as the night gets darker, and nowhere else you are supposed to be.
the fire is our meeting place, our soft landing and the place the whole camp keeps finding each other again. ancient, simple and very good at making humans feel human.
build your own camp story
the activity menu shifts with the weather, tide, camp staffing and the energy of the group. each morning, pick what calls you.
people to meet
shared meals, cabin friends, campfire conversations and plenty of easy ways to join in.
private beach
low-tide walks, swimming, sandcastle engineering and harbour wandering.
camp activities
we're building a rotating menu of kayaking, climbing, archery, outdoor cooking, crafts, drama and dance, subject to weather and camp staffing.
the firefly disco
three silent-disco channels, three experiences, and the whole camp as your dance floor.
nervous-system spaces
silent disco Neurosculpting®, breathwork, yoga and quieter places to reset.
camp-wide games
night games, creative missions and the Great Wild Things Quest.
food with personality
camp-style meals, themed suppers, deluxe BBQ toppings and morning beverage magic.
actual room to rest
quiet time, naps, free wandering and full permission to skip anything.
actual beach inventory from past summers: starfish, crabs, one four-leaf clover, the occasional rainbow.
the more wild things that join us, the wilder camp becomes
as camp fills, we pour more back into the experience: better food, paid crew, performers, art, games, equipment, barista mornings, mocktail nights and whatever strange brilliance you all bring.
the firefly disco
three channels glow across the grounds. dance with the whole camp, drift between experiences, or take your headphones somewhere quiet and make the night your own.
pick a channel. follow the glow.
one channel stays family-friendly, while the others wander through party music, slow dance, zouk and chill late-night soundscapes.
a place to belong for the weekend
we are building the opposite of an artificial social feed: real faces, shared meals, ridiculous stories, hands held under the stars and enough unstructured time for friendship to happen on its own.
find your way through camp
the Lodge feeds us, the Wormhole shifts from daytime sanctuary to dance portal, the Wild Field becomes night-game territory, and the cliffside fire keeps pulling everyone home.

camp moves with the day. weather, tides, staffing and group energy may shift the order or timing.
activities are choice-based. join what calls you, parallel play nearby, or make rest your official camp assignment.
nighttime has layers. family programming winds down first, while quieter grown-up spaces can continue later.
a little village of bunk cabins
classic camp cabins, one open room of bunks, and a shared washhouse a short walk away. request your friends through the camper application and we will build the cabin map with care.
the listed bunk counts describe the cabins themselves. our total camp headcount also includes staff, volunteers and family arrangements, so not every bunk is sold individually.
real camp, clearly explained
what are the accommodations like?
classic shared bunk cabins with a separate washhouse a short walk away. this is charming, uncomplicated summer camp, not a luxury hotel. see the cabins and grounds, then send roommate requests through your camper application. requests are subject to availability.
how does family pricing work?
children who need their own bunk are 50% off. babies and very young children who do not need a separate bunk are free. families can also ask andie about reserving an entire cabin at a special family rate.
is this a kids' camp or an adults' retreat?
both, and neither. all ages are welcome. grown-ups remain responsible for their own children (especially anywhere near the water), and people coming without kids belong here just as much.
are kayaking, climbing and archery guaranteed?
they're on the menu, led by trained staff at camp pagweak's facility. the final lineup depends on weather, tides and staff availability, so nothing with a paddle or a harness is ever a guarantee. there will always be plenty to choose from.
do I have to participate in everything?
no. choose your activities, change your mind, rest, wander or sit by the harbour. participation is always optional.
what is the cancellation and transfer policy?
all sales are final and non-refundable. you can transfer your registration to another person until september 1, 2026 at 11:59pm for a $20 fee. email hello@kuumayoga.com and we'll sort it out.
when do you collect food and cabin information?
after you register, fill in the what's next form with dietary needs, allergies, cabin requests and who's in your crew. packing lists and arrival details land in your inbox closer to camp.
what is the camp culture?
fully sober, smoke-free and vape-free (that last one is camp policy, not just ours), consent-aware and playful. after 11pm, louder social spaces move to silent disco headphones so camp can be lively without becoming chaos soup.
isn't that the first week of school?
depends where you live. new brunswick schools go back after labour day, so nb families miss nothing at all. nova scotia schools do start that thursday, sept 3, so some ns families will roll in thursday evening or after school on friday instead. that works fine. email us and we'll make a late arrival easy.
what about waivers and photos?
everyone signs a participation waiver as part of registering, and a guardian signs for the little wild things. we take photos and video at camp for kuuma's marketing, and your consent matters to us: tell us at check-in if you'd rather stay out of frame and we'll make sure you do.
where is camp?
camp pagweak is at 9395 route 6 in pugwash, nova scotia, about 90 minutes from moncton and a little over two hours from halifax. flying? moncton and halifax airports both work.
andie grew up here
andie landed at pagweak as a camper in 1998 and basically never left. from 2006 to 2013 she was staff: senior counsellor, tuck shop operator, first aid, programs director, and official designer of the camp t-shirt.
camp memories become little time capsules. one photo below holds a moment from 2002 inside the same place in 2013. the buildings stay, the people grow, and somehow the feeling recognizes you when you come back.
the child in the second photo is kiana. years later, she became a koulu yoga school graduate. pagweak has always played the long game, and kuuma exists partly because of what this place taught andie about belonging.
bringing everyone back here in 2026 is very full-circle, and she is not going to be normal about it.
your bunk is waiting
three nights, all meals, the whole camp and one final blaze of summer.
all sales final · transfers available until september 1 at 11:59pm for a $20 fee
